Training - EC-Council
Certified Ethical Hacker
NetComms provides training on the latest CEH Version 7
EC-Council's Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) training certifies a
security professional as an Ethical Hacker and Penetration
Tester. CEH training fortifies the abilities to guard against
the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of network infrastructure and
illegal hacking.
CEH training becomes imperative with the increasing security
threats to computer networks and web servers and there is a
great need to make networks "hacker-proof". The best way to do
this is by understanding the methods employed by hackers try to
intrude into systems. Our CEH training boot camp does just that.
A Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) starts thinking in a way an
"illegal hacker" does but uses the EC-Council CEH certification
and tools to legally penetrate and test networks and computer
systems.
CEH Version 7 training class will immerse the students into an
interactive environment where they will be shown how to scan,
test, hack and secure their own systems. The CEH training lab's
intensive environment gives each student in-depth knowledge and
practical experience with the current essential security
systems. Students will begin by understanding how perimeter
defenses work and then be will led into scanning and attacking
their own networks (no real network is harmed).
During CEH training, students as ethical hackers learn how
intruders escalate privileges and what steps can be taken to
secure a system. Students will also learn about Intrusion
Detection, Policy Creation, Social Engineering, DDoS Attacks,
Buffer Overflows and Virus creation.
Prerequisites :
Before attending CEH training, students should have one year of
experience managing Windows/Unix/Linux systems or have
equivalent knowledge and skills. Good Understanding of TCP/IP is
required.
Software Professionals with basic knowledge of
networking services can also attend CEH certification boot
camp.
Please note the following:
EC-Council's Certified Ethical
Hacker CEH training is not a study of hacking tools. CEH
training is a study of concepts, how a hacker works. The tools
are for proof of concepts only.
There are thousands of hacking tools and hacking technologies
covered in the curriculum. The trainer will not be able to
demonstrate all the tools in the class. He will showcase
selected tools only.
Legal Agreement:
Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures course mission is to educate, introduce and demonstrate hacking tools for penetration testing purposes only. Prior to attending this course, you will be asked to sign an agreement stating that you will not use the newly acquired skills for illegal or malicious attacks and you will not use such tools in an attempt to compromise any computer system, and to indemnify EC-Council and NetComms with respect to the use or misuse of these tools, regardless of intent.
